Miami-Dade County Strategic Procurement Department is hosting a free event titled "How to Do Business with the Public Sector" in celebration of Black Business Month. The event aims to connect small businesses with contracting opportunities, resources, and funding. Representatives from various local government entities and organizations will share information about current and upcoming contracting opportunities. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with business resource and funding organizations. The event will take place on August 26, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Arcola Lakes Senior Center in Miami, FL.
