Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center (RIA-JMTC), under the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), is seeking a contractor for a comprehensive electrical retrofit of a Cincinnati MO 5305 U18 Lathe. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) - Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) - OEMs and Vendors: - FANUC (primary OEM for control systems, motors, and related components) - Cincinnati (original lathe manufacturer) - Products Requested: - FANUC 0i-TF Plus Control series with 15" LCD color display (1 unit) - FANUC AC Digital Velocity Units for X and Z-axes (2 units) - FANUC AC servomotors with high-speed resolution absolute encoders (2 units) - FANUC Alpha 40 spindle motor with drive system (1 unit) - Pendant to interface with existing pendant arm (1 unit) - FANUC HMOP handheld unit Manual Pulse Generator (MPG) (1 unit) - New electrical panels and components (quantity not specified) - Services Requested: - Engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, startup, debugging, and certification maintenance for the retrofit - Training for machine operators on new controls and maintenance - Delivery of comprehensive retrofit documentation (schematics, manuals, drawings, lists) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Retrofit must comply with OSHA and security requirements - All electrical panels and components must meet NEMA standards - Certificate of Conformance required for all items - On-site installation, startup, and operator training included - Maximum period of performance is 34 weeks, divided into engineering, procurement/assembly, and installation phases - Early completion is allowed; exceeding 34 weeks requires prior approval - Delivery required to Rock Island Arsenal, IL; early delivery accepted - Payment processed via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)

Description

The Rock Island Arsenal has a requirement for the following item.

The Government intends to make a firm fixed price (FFP) award to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible vendor whose quote, conforms to the RFQ requirements and represents the lowest total evaluated price. Discussions are not anticipated.

Payment will be completed via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)
