The Unified Court System (UCS) seeks to procure a firearms training range with classroom space and related amenities for use by uniformed and nonuniformed peace officers assigned within the NYC–Metro area. The contract includes overnight storage for large cache weapons required during Court Officer Training Academy (COTA) classes. The facility must accommodate up to 200 recruits per class, guarantee at least 165 days of exclusive UCS firearms training access per year, and meet specific facility requirements including compliance with NYPD, FDNY, and NYC Building Department codes. The contract term is five years, from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2031, covering training needs in Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Richmond counties.
