NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center is seeking specialized training in COMSOL Multiphysics for its Propulsion System and Induced Fluid Dynamic branch (ER42). - Sole source procurement from ALTASIM TECHNOLOGIES, LLC for COMSOL Multiphysics Training - Training covers both foundational and advanced modules, with a focus on acoustics and single-phase CFD - Up to 15 engineers will participate in three days of on-site training, plus nine months access to recorded modules - Custom course materials and printable documents will be provided - Post-training support and Q&A included - NAICS code 611430 (Professional and Management Development Training) - Procurement conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial items and services - Interested vendors may submit qualifications, but price quotes are not being accepted - Period of performance: Recorded content delivered within 30 days of award, available for nine months; on-site training within 90 days, lasting three days

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for COMSOL Multiphysics Training. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to ALTASIM TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, Worthington, Ohio 43085-5527,  under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that ALTASIM TECHNOLOGIES, LLC is the sole provider of COMSOL Multiphysics Training

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 611430.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on 8/26/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

NOTE: Quotes received in response to this notice will NOT be considered and will not be evaluated by NASA’s Technical End User Team.
