Description

The 355 Contracting Squadron is requesting a long term service contract to maintain and repair Quincy Air Compressors (See attached PWS for Models). This compressor is essential for daily squadron operations, including vehicle maintenance and repairs for two Quincy air compressors and a desiccant air dryer at Davis-Monthan AFB. These systems supply vital breathing and shop air for the 355th Component Maintenance Squadron (355 CMS). The contractor shall inspect and perform preventive maintenance, as recommended by the manufacturer, on the Quincy air compressors and desiccant air dryer. At a minimum, this includes changing filters and separators, changing oil, inspecting and servicing valves and controls, taking oil samples, verifying proper operation of safety devices, and conducting operational checks of the compressors and dryer. The contractor shall ensure the system operates properly and safely while minimizing disruptions and inconveniences to users until the next scheduled maintenance. Repairs made during scheduled preventive maintenance are considered any repairs consistent with normal wear and tear of compressor and dryer operation. If the contractor identifies conditions that require work beyond normal preventive maintenance, the contractor shall treat that work as non-routine maintenance and proceed in accordance with the PWS.
