Description
The US Department of the Treasury (Treasury), Bureau of Engraving and Printing, analyzed the benefits of consolidating two (2) separate contracts into one contract for Security Administrative Services. Treasury has found the consolidating necessary and justified. Consolidation of the requirements will result in substantial benefits estimated at 10.78%. The benefits exceed the requirement per Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR 7.107-2(c)(3) of 10% of the estimated contract value. In addition to the significant quantified cost savings, the contract will benefit from mission alignment and organizational impact, cost savings and economies of scale, operational efficiency and administrative streamlining, quality improvements that will save time or improve or enhance performance or efficiency, and workforce standardization and capability development. The cost savings and other benefits that will be realized as a result of this consolidation outweigh any potential negative impacts to small business. In addition, the Government reserves the right to further set-aside this requirement for specific small business socio-economic categories.
