Description

This is a request for quote (RFQ) for  commercial products prepared in accordance with the streamlined simplified procedures in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 12.201-1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Tyndall Air Force Base (TAFB) requires a rapidly deployable airfield matting solution to support dynamic flight operations across  austere and varied terrains. The installation routinely hosts a wide range of aircraft, including high-performance fighters (F-35,  F-16), E-9s, heavy cargo lifters (C-17), and transient commercial units. However, operational expansion and expeditionary  exercises are often constrained by weak subgrades in the surrounding environment, such as loose dirt, mud, sand, and  marshlands. To ensure continuous mission readiness and safe aircraft operations in these challenging conditions, TAFB requires  an expeditionary "rapid runway" system. This system will provide a stabilized, high-load-bearing surface capable of supporting  up to 400,000 lbs, enabling personnel to quickly establish, repair, or expand operational runways and taxiways as mission  demands dictate.

Please refer to the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and RFQ for detailed requirement description, instructions for submission, and method of evaluation.
