Military Sealift Command (MSC) Norfolk is seeking specialized inspection, certification, and maintenance services for Hyster brand Material Handling Equipment (MHE) forklifts, specifically the E40XNG/EE models used aboard T-AO, T-AKE, and T-ESB class vessels. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command (MSC) Norfolk, MSC Program Support Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Hyster (OEM) - Technical Support Specialists and Consultation (TSS&C) (authorized distributor) - Products/Services Requested: - Inspection, certification, diagnostics, and maintenance services for Hyster E40XNG/EE forklifts - Includes pre-delivery inspection, ammunition and explosives safety certification (SWO 23), and condition reporting - Safety certification of brakes, lift cylinders, EMI sparks, grounding straps - Training MSC personnel on brake adjustments and four-wheel braking systems - Compliance with NAVSUP Publication 538 Sixth Revision, MHE Inspection Form, and NAVSEA SW023-AH-WHM-010 standards - Use of Hyster-approved laptops, diagnostic software, hardware, and proprietary procedures - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only Hyster proprietary hardware and software accepted; alternatives will not be considered - Sole source procurement due to Hyster's exclusive licensing and proprietary rights - Contractor must have expertise with Hyster diagnostic tools and four-wheel braking systems - Detailed deliverables include inspection reports and safety certifications for each unit

Description

1. Solicitation number is N3220526Q7238 and is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ).

2. It is anticipated one firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued in response to this RFQ.  No commercial financing.  Hyster approved Laptop, Diagnostic Troubleshooting Software, hardware and diagnostic procedures for Hyster Forklifts are required.  Any offer for other than Hyster proprietary hardware and software will not be considered.

3.  Quotes may be e-mailed to Alec Ferralli at alec.m.ferralli.civ@us.navy.mil and Tommy Hale at tommy.a.hale.civ@us.navy.mil.  To be considered timely, an E-mail quote must be received in its entirety in the designated E-mail inbox by the due date and time for quote submission.  Quotes received after that time will be considered at the Government’s sole discretion.  Please reference the solicitation number on your quote.
