Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC) is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance and snow plowing services for Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park. - Government Buyer: - Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC), Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park - Scope of Services: - Right-of-Way Lawn Maintenance: mowing, trimming, weed control, litter and debris removal, lawn repair, spring cleanup, and NYSDEC-approved fertilization - Ship Canal Commons Park Lawn Care and Maintenance: weekly mowing, trash receptacle maintenance, debris removal, trimming, weed control, lawn repair, mulching, stone trail maintenance, invasive species removal, seasonal floral displays, and goose droppings control - Snow Plowing Services: plowing and salting of designated parking lots and sidewalks during snowfalls of 2 inches or more, snow stockpiling, and damage repair - Litter and Bulk Trash Removal: daily removal of litter, debris, illegally dumped materials, and tires - Trash Receptacle Maintenance: emptying, cleaning, and replacing trash receptacles and liners - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, and disposal - Special care required due to brownfield redevelopment; treatments and soil restoration must be NYSDEC-approved - MWBE certification or participation and workforce diversity (minority and female participation, City of Buffalo employment) are preferred - Preference for a single contractor covering all service areas, but proposals for individual categories are accepted - No specific OEMs or vendors are mentioned in the solicitation - Proposals must be submitted electronically; paper submissions are not accepted

Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide general maintenance, lawn care, landscaping, litter and bulk trash removal, and snow plowing services at Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park, located along Ship Canal Parkway between Tifft Street and Commerce Drive in the City of Buffalo. The contract covers the period from November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027. Services include maintenance of common areas, roadway rights-of-way, Union Ship Canal Commons, parking areas, and designated sidewalks, including lawn mowing, landscaping, litter removal, trash receptacle maintenance, seasonal cleanups, and snow plowing. Proposals will be evaluated on price, experience, proposal quality, equipment availability, site maintenance ability, local employment, workforce diversity, and MWBE participation.
