Description
AFPET/PTPLA is seeking to purchase (1) Automated Potentiometric Mercaptan Sulfur Titrator Instrument designed primarily for the determination of mercaptan sulfur in gasolines, kerosene, aviation turbine fuels, and distillate fuels containing from 0.0003 % to 0.01 % by mass of mercaptan sulfur. Elemental sulfur in amounts less than 0.0005 % by mass and organic sulfur compounds such as sulfides, disulfides, and thiophene, do not interfere. This instrument will analyze fuels in accordance with ASTM D3227-24 and in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) dated 4 August 2026.
