Description
Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified consultants for the planning portion of the Provision of SS4A Supplemental Planning and Demonstration Project for the Department of Transportation. The project involves developing and completing an SS4A Demonstration project supported by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grants Program. The work includes testing technology, preparing for installation of quick-build solutions, and conducting post-implementation studies focused on locally maintained roads on the high injury network. The project will be completed in three phases: planning and NEPA activities, design of pilot demonstration projects, and construction with post-installation data collection.
