Gwinnett County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking proposals for a design-build project to create an immersive audiovisual environment at the Environmental & Heritage Center Sensory Treehouse. - Government Buyer: - Gwinnett County Department of Parks and Recreation, Financial Services Purchasing Division - Contact: Jake Scarpone, Purchasing Associate III - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; vendors must demonstrate experience with immersive media environments - Products/Services Requested: - Immersive audiovisual environment including: - Seven wall projectors - Five ceiling projectors - Four floor projectors - Seven audio speakers for high fidelity dome, floor, and surround audio projection - Media production for: - One 30-minute enhanced immersive film with narration, closed captioning, and multilingual support - Alternate option: three 7-minute films with ambient audio and no narration - AV systems integration, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and owner training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must provide warranties (minimum one year) - Insurance and bonding required (bid bond, performance and payment bonds) - Demonstrated experience with similar immersive media environments - Accessibility accommodations available upon request - Flexible project schedule proposed by vendor, with key milestones for design, installation, commissioning, and acceptance

Description

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the design-build of the Sensory Treehouse Audiovisual Production at the Gwinnett County Environmental & Heritage Center. The project is managed by the Gwinnett County Department of Parks and Recreation. Proposals must be submitted in sealed containers and will be received until 2:50 p.m. local time on September 24, 2026, with a virtual proposal opening at 3:00 p.m. A virtual pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for August 26, 2026. Contractors must meet insurance and bonding requirements, including submitting a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount.
