Description
This notice announces the continuation of antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on certain large vertical shaft engines between 225cc and 999cc, and parts thereof, from the People's Republic of China. The U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that revocation of these orders would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping, countervailable subsidies, and material injury to the U.S. industry. The scope covers spark-ignited, nonroad, vertical shaft engines primarily for riding lawn mowers and similar equipment, including unfinished engines and certain engine subassemblies. The orders remain effective as of August 11, 2026, with continued collection of AD and CVD cash deposits at existing rates.
