The Port of Long Beach Security Division is seeking an On-Call Security Systems Integrator to provide installation, configuration, documentation, and testing services for security system equipment and materials throughout the Harbor District. - Government Buyer: - Port of Long Beach, Security Division, Joint Command and Control Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Lenel (access control) - Milestone (video management system) - AXIS, Hanwha, Bosch (cameras) - Key Tracer (electronic key control) - Cisco (network switches) - Siklu (wireless communication) - Dell (video storage) - Arista, Flir, FortiNet, Axon, Wanco (other security/network equipment) - Products/Services Requested: - Security system equipment and materials, including: - Cameras (AXIS, Hanwha, Bosch) - Video storage (Dell, minimum 90-day retention at 10 FPS) - Video management system servers and licenses (Milestone) - Communication equipment (Cisco switches, relays, power supplies, battery backup) - Electronic key control boxes (Key Tracer, 3 units) - Wireless communication equipment (Siklu) - Access control readers/panels (Lenel) - Field devices, gates, fencing, electrified door hardware - Services: - On-call installation, configuration, documentation, and testing - Hardware/software integration with existing systems - Acceptance testing with detailed test plans - Training for Security personnel - Warranty and maintenance support (minimum one year) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be a Value-Added Reseller of Lenel - C-10 Electrical Contractor License and DIR registration required - Compliance with Davis-Bacon and California prevailing wage laws - SBE/VSBE participation goal - Security clearances for personnel - Minimum 90-day video storage retention - Performance and payment bonds, insurance requirements

Description

The Port of Long Beach is seeking a qualified contractor to provide installation, configuration, and testing services for security system equipment and materials within the Harbor District. The scope includes furnishing, installing, configuring, documenting, and validating security systems including hardware, software, communications infrastructure, and field devices to ensure physical security protection of the Port complex. The contract is expected to be for three years with an estimated value of $1,000,000. The contractor will work under the direction of the Port's Security Division and must comply with all applicable codes and requirements.
