Description
The Government of Alberta is seeking an external consultant to conduct an independent assessment of options for the future of the Alberta Emissions Offset Registry (AEOR) and Alberta Emission Performance Credit (EPC) Registry. The project involves evaluating delivery models, costs, risks, and system requirements, and providing a recommended approach with an implementation roadmap. The consultant will assess current registry performance, analyze jurisdictional best practices, evaluate interoperability and market integration opportunities, and develop future-state requirements. The contract duration is approximately 5 months starting from October 1, 2026.
