Pasco County Schools is seeking a vendor to provide Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for all district facilities and buses. - Government Buyer: - District School Board of Pasco County, Florida - Maintenance Services Department, Purchasing Services - OEMs and Vendors: - Turner Pest Control, LLC (recommended for award in one attachment) - No specific OEMs or pest control product manufacturers are named; opportunity is open to all qualified pest management service providers - Products/Services Requested: - Integrated Pest Management Services for approximately 12.9 million square feet of district facilities - Pest control services for 425 district buses - Pest control per square foot (approx. 9,485,805 sq ft in one pricing attachment) - Pest control per bus (401 buses in one pricing attachment) - Control of roaches, silverfish, fleas, palmetto bugs, bed bugs, ants (all species), spiders, stinging insects (bees and wasps), rats, and mice - Excludes subterranean and dry-wood termites and bats - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendor must provide certified pest management personnel, including a qualified entomologist and supervisor - Proof of insurance, business license, completed W-9, affidavits regarding labor practices and foreign country of concern - Compliance with federal and district terms and conditions - Annual pest management plan submission and prompt response to service requests - Pricing based on square footage and bus treatments - Personnel working on district property must meet screening and registration requirements - Estimated annual expenditure is $150,000 (not guaranteed) - Contract term is three years, with possible renewal for up to three additional years - Services are provided on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period

Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to establish a contract between the District School Board of Pasco County and one vendor to provide integrated pest management services on an as-needed basis during the term of the award. The services include control of various pests such as roaches, silverfish, fleas, ants, spiders, and rodents, excluding subterranean and dry-wood termites and bats. The contract term is three years with possible renewal for up to three additional years or longer by mutual agreement. Estimated annual expenditures are $150,000, with no guarantees on the amount to be expended.
