Description

This solicitation is for the installation of approximately 8,200 linear feet of 16-inch C900 PVC water main, including all necessary fittings, valves, valve boxes, and appurtenances for a complete and operable system. The work includes installation of water system appurtenances such as fire hydrants, blow-offs, air/vacuum release assemblies, service connections, and tie-ins to existing facilities. The contractor will perform trenching, excavation, bedding, backfill, compaction, and construct thrust restraint systems. All disturbed areas will be restored, and the contractor will perform required testing and disinfection before placing the system into service upon engineer approval.
