Hernando County Solicits Lot Mowing and Trash/Debris Removal Services

Hernando County Code Enforcement Department is seeking vendors to provide lot mowing and trash/debris removal services for properties in violation of county ordinances. - Indefinite quantity contracts for: - Lot mowing services (grass up to eighteen inches tall; sites may be unimproved, residential, or commercial) - Trash and debris removal/disposal (including tires, household trash, car parts, mobile home remnants, burned structure remnants, abandoned vehicles, derelict boats) - One vendor will be awarded the mowing contract; primary and secondary vendors will be selected for trash/debris removal - Services are required on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum expenditure - Work must comply with all relevant codes, standards, and laws - Contract may also support grant-related projects for the Housing and Supportive Services Department - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

Vendor/Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to accomplish lot mowing and/or trash/debris removal and disposal services, as needed at various property locations within Hernando County that are in violation of Hernando County Property Code Ordinances. The contract anticipates to be awarded to one vendor for mowing services and a Primary and Secondary vendor for trash/debris removal and disposal services. Services are on an as-needed basis, performed on various property types such as unimproved lots, residential, or commercial properties. Trash/debris removal includes tires, household trash, car parts, mobile home remnants, burned structure remnants, abandoned vehicles, derelict boats, etc. This is an indefinite quantity contract with no guaranteed minimum or maximum expenditure.
