Caltrans is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive HVAC maintenance, repair, and restoration services for state-owned properties in Fresno and Madera Counties. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), District 06/Maintenance, Division of Procurement and Contracts - Scope of Work: - Routine and non-routine maintenance and repair of HVAC systems at 13 Maintenance Stations and 1 Safety Roadside Rest Area - Services include all labor, equipment, vehicles, tools, travel, disposal/recycling of waste, and incidentals - Estimated labor quantities: - 937 hours of HVAC Technician Journeyman routine maintenance - 300 hours of HVAC Technician Journeyman non-routine repair - 312 hours of HVAC Technician Apprentice routine maintenance - 100 hours of HVAC Technician Apprentice non-routine repair - Parts, materials, supplies, fees, and permits capped at $45,000 (reimbursed with receipts) - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must hold valid registration with the Department of Industrial Relations and a Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license (A or C-20 classification) - Prevailing wage laws apply if total bid exceeds $15,000 - Encouragement and incentives for small businesses, micro businesses, and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) - Service requests may have a maximum term of three months each - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; solicitation is open to all qualified HVAC service providers

Description

This solicitation is for HVAC services on Caltrans-owned properties in Fresno and Madera Counties. The contractor is required to provide labor, equipment, vehicles, tools, travel, disposal/recycling of waste, and incidentals to maintain, repair, and restore HVAC systems.
