The U.S. Forest Service, Hoosier National Forest (Tell City Ranger District), is seeking construction and repair services for dam maintenance at Indian Lake and Tipsaw Lake. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Hoosier National Forest, Tell City RD - Scope of Work: - Dam maintenance and erosion repair at Indian Lake Dam and Tipsaw Lake Auxiliary Spillway - Includes backfilling eroded ditches, reshaping spillways, removing vegetation, installing Rip Rap, seeding and mulching, restoring access roads, and adding aggregate - Products and Materials Requested: - Aggregate #53: 260 tons - Aggregate #2: 40 tons - Aggregate 24" Rip Rap: 700 tons - Seeding and Mulching: 930 square yards and 3 acres - Mobilization: lump sum - Optional Debris Removal: lump sum - Services Requested: - Lump sum repairs for Indian Auxiliary Spillway (3 line items) - Unique Requirements: - Large-scale aggregate and Rip Rap installation - Extensive seeding and mulching for erosion control - Optional debris removal - No specific OEMs or branded products are mentioned; materials are generic construction aggregates and services. - All work to be completed within a short period of performance, with anticipated delivery by contract end.

Description

Hoosier National Forest, Tell City Ranger District located in Indiana, Dam Maintenance Project 1 consists of repairing erosion area in the Indian Lake Dam and Tipsaw Lake Auxiliary Spillway. The work would include backfill eroded ditch/areas with aggregate and fill material. Reshaping the existing ditch along the spillway and removing vegetation along the spillway. Indian Lake will also have additional Rip Rap added to the face of the dam. Seed and straw disturbed areas. Restoring the access roads to the project and adding aggregate.
