Description

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits (as required), and incidentals necessary to remove three (3) existing ADA security portals located within the NPTU Security Building and construct a new secure floor-to-deck partition wall incorporating three (3) new security doors. The Contractor shall also perform all associated demolition, electrical work, security system rough-in, painting, cleanup, testing, and restoration necessary to provide a complete and operational installation.

All work shall be accomplished in accordance with all Federal, State, Local Regulations and the guidelines & requirements as outlined in the base contract and manufacturer recommendations while maintaining the security and operation of the facility throughout construction, to include but not limited to the following: 1. International Building Code 2. International Mechanical Code 3. International Plumbing Code 4. National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) 5. National Fire Code (NFPA 1) 6. Base Architectural Compatibility Guide 7. Unified Federal Criteria (UFC) 8. Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS)

The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract IAW the procedures at RFO 12.201-1 and RFO Part 36 respectively. A mandatory site visit will be held within an estimated three calendar days from the issuance of the solicitation. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached for review.
