The Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI), part of the Department of the Army, is seeking Okamoto brand CNC Grinders for the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI), Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Okamoto Corporation (Okamoto Corp USA Total Grinding Solution) is the sole OEM specified - Products Requested: - 1 Okamoto OGM-12.36UNCIII Universal CNC Cylindrical Grinder (OD Grinder) - 1 Okamoto IGM-15NCIII/2B Twin Spindle Internal Grinder (ID Grinder) - Option for 1 additional Okamoto CNC OD Grinder - All grinders must feature FANUC OiTD control systems, specific spindle motors, diamond wheel dressing devices, coolant systems with chillers, and mist collection systems - Services Requested: - Operator training for 5 personnel - Maintenance training for 2 personnel - Methods training for 4 personnel (machine capabilities, controls, programming) - Unique Requirements: - Strictly brand name only: Okamoto grinders, no substitutes allowed - Delivery, installation, and service support required, including 48-hour on-site response - 1-year parts and labor warranty starting upon final acceptance - Compliance documentation required with quote submission - Option for additional OD Grinder must be deliverable by the following year - Notable Details: - Firm fixed price contract to lowest price technically acceptable offeror - All technical specifications and requirements detailed in attachments - Training and warranty support are integral to the procurement
