Description

This solicitation is for conducting passive acoustic monitoring of at least 70 potential bat hibernacula portals across Pennsylvania in fall 2026. The contractor will deploy acoustic devices at cave and mine portals during the fall swarm period (September 15 to October 30) to detect bat activity and species identification. The data collected will assist the Pennsylvania Game Commission in prioritizing follow-up trapping surveys and conservation efforts.
