The Department of the Navy's Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) is seeking to lease a 500kW emergency diesel generator for a two-month period. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command - Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) - Products/Services Requested: - Lease of one 500kW diesel generator (minimum 500kW, 460VAC, 3-phase, 60 Hz) - Diesel fuel for delivery test (sufficient for 15-minute test, with fuel analysis) - Operation and maintenance manual specific to the equipment - EPA off-road certification for the diesel engine - On-site training (one hour for government employees) - 10x10 sign with company representative contact information - 24/7 on-call technical support and maintenance (manufacturer technical rep or NIASE certified diesel mechanic, 4-hour response, 48-hour repair/replacement) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to SBA-eligible small businesses - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Generator must meet EPA off-road and NFPA standards - Integrated double wall UL 142 compliant fuel tank for 16 hours full-load run time - Security and access protocols for contractor personnel (badging, background checks) - Delivery and replacement within 48 hours of task order award - Maintenance-free starting batteries, remote/local start, and NEMA 3R ISO enclosure - 24/7 technical support with rapid repair/replacement requirement - On-site training and clear operational documentation - Period of Performance: - Two-month lease, with delivery and readiness required within 48 hours of award

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items found at FAR subpart 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written notice will not be issued.

PSNS & IMF, located in Bremerton, WA, is requesting a quote from your firm for the item(s) listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
