Description

This solicitation is for the maintenance and repair of a 39.6 m DSHR1 Mabey Compact 200 series bridge located off Highway 11 on forestry access road 801 at kilometer marker 14, crossing the Namewaminikan River within the Nipigon Geraldton District of the Ministry of Natural Resources. The work includes tightening and replacing missing bolts, removing gravel from the deck, regrading approaches, and replacing damaged sections of guide rails, end treatments, offsets, and posts. Full replacement of all end posts, requiring the bridge to be jacked up, is also part of the scope. The maintenance and rehabilitation work must be completed in late summer or early fall of 2026 before the ground freezes.
