The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) announces a public meeting of the Permanent Advisory Committee (PAC) to advise the U.S. Commissioners to the Commission for the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean (WCPFC). The meeting will be held on October 5 and 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time, in Honolulu, HI, and via web conference. Topics include outcomes of various WCPFC committee sessions, potential U.S. proposals, and priority issues from U.S. Participating Territories. Public comments are accepted until September 20, 2026, and an Executive Session may be held if confidential matters arise.
