Description
The FAA proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A330-941 airplanes due to a triple "PRIM FAULT" in the Flight Control Primary Computer (FCPC) at touchdown. The AD requires installation of a new FCPC standard and applicable concurrent modifications, and prohibits installation of certain parts. This action addresses an unsafe condition that could result in loss of autobrake and thrust reverser, potentially reducing airplane control. Comments on the proposal are due by October 5, 2026.
