Description
The Emergency Communications Division (ECD) within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is requesting an extension of an existing information collection related to the Communications Assets Survey and Mapping (CASM) Tool Registration. The CASM tool is a secure, nationwide database used by federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal emergency personnel to inventory and share communications assets and training information to support emergency communications interoperability and planning. The registration process requires users to provide personal and organizational information which is then vetted by their organization's approving authority. This information collection supports ECD's statutory authority to promote interoperable emergency communications capabilities across various government levels and public safety agencies.
