USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking a contractor to remove and replace four Culligan water filtration systems at the Stuttgart, Arkansas SNARC facility. - Government Buyer: - USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Acquisition and Property Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Culligan (OEM; compatibility and traceability required) - Products Requested: - 4 Culligan CSM-423D-NC Depth Filters (42" x 60", epoxy-coated carbon steel, multi-media filtration) - 4 Culligan GBE Controls (system controllers) - 4 3-inch Stainless Steel Flow Meters (with communication cables and sample ports) - 1 3-inch Brunermatic-style Valve Nest (compatible with Culligan system) - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing filters - Installation of new filtration equipment and plumbing - Startup, system testing, and personnel training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All replacement equipment and controllers must interface with existing Culligan systems - OEM traceability and Certificates of Conformance required for all parts - All parts must be new (no refurbished or used components) - Small business set-aside under NAICS 221310 - Delivery required within 30 days after contract award

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0944 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for removal and replacement of four existing water filtration. The replacement filters and controllers must be able to  interface with the existing Culligan filters and controllers.  The work includes providing new filtration equipment, associated plumbing, installation, testing, and training.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 221310  The small business size standard is $41.0 Million  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
