Description

The project involves slide repair work on HWY 40:36 at various sites north of Grande Cache for rockfall mitigation from kilometer 8.250 to 17.842 (SBL). The work includes rock scaling, common and/or borrow excavation loaded to trucks, concrete barrier installation, and fiber reinforced shotcrete application. The contract duration is 10 months with a completion date of July 31, 2027. A mandatory pre-tender meeting is scheduled for September 1, 2026, at the Milner Mine Entrance in Grande Cache, AB.
