Clark County is seeking bids for a major rehabilitation and replacement project at the Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road pedestrian bridges. - Scope covers four pedestrian bridges at a high-traffic intersection - Replacement of twelve existing escalators with new high-efficiency, heavy-duty transit-grade escalators - Only TKE (ThyssenKrupp Elevator) escalators are accepted as qualified OEMs for escalator work - Field full-load dynamic brake testing required for each escalator - Repair and modernization of six hydraulic elevators, including replacement of hydraulic jacks and elevator roofing - Upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and maintenance rooms - Includes new HVAC equipment, lighting, plumbing, and enlargement of rooms - Installation of new doors and hardware - Stair modifications: LED handrails, tactile warning panels, concrete repairs - Installation of sand-oil separators, manholes, sump pumps, piping, pavement and sidewalk patching - Restoration of landscaping and irrigation, installation of trench drains - Mandatory pre-bid conference attendance required for bid submission

Description

Clark County is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation and replacement of elevators and escalators on the four existing pedestrian bridges at the Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road intersection. The project includes replacing twelve escalators with new transit-grade escalators, repairing six hydraulic elevators, upgrading mechanical and electrical rooms, modifying stairs, installing drainage and landscaping restoration, and other related construction activities. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held via WebEx, and attendance is required for bid submission. The bid closing date is September 1, 2026, at 2:15 PM PT.
