NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (Sasebo site) is seeking competitive proposals for the replacement of sea water flushing piping on the LHA-7 vessel in Sasebo, Japan. - Government Buyer: - Agency: NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka - Sub-agency/Office: Sasebo site - Scope of Work: - Replacement of sea water flushing piping in: - 02 level, frames 49 through 74 - 02 deck level, frames 25 through 46 - Work to be performed on the LHA-7 vessel - Eligibility Requirements: - Only companies authorized to operate and do business in Japan are eligible - Bidders must hold a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in Japan, or be willing to execute such agreements prior to award - Documentation proving authorization to perform work in Japan is required - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Technical Specifications: - Detailed technical attachments are restricted to eligible MSRA/ABR holders in Japan - Unique Requirements: - Strict eligibility limited to MSRA/ABR holders or those willing to execute such agreements - Compliance with DFARS 225.1103 (3) and 252.225-7042 (regarding authorized sources in Japan)

The work is to be performed in “SASEBO”, JAPAN.

This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in “JAPAN”, as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103 (3), 252.225-7042.

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site “ SASEBO ” intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the LHA-7, SEA WATER FLUSHING PIPING IN 02 LEVEL FRAME 49 THROUGH 74 REPLACE, SEA WATER FLUSHING PIPING IN 02 DECK LEVEL FRAME 25 THROUGH 46 REPLACE to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in “Japan”. Please ensure that your company meets these criteria and provides any necessary documentation to demonstrate your authorization to perform this work in “ Japan “.

Contractors located OUTSIDE Japan that do NOT unambiguously demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 will NOT be eligible to receive an award. Any Offeror who do NOT possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan region, or does NOT agree to execute a master agreement (MSRA/ABR) in the Japan Region before award of a job order, will NOT be eligible to receive an award.  Access to Attachments: Attachments are Restricted/CUI and accessible only to authorized MSRA/ABR holders in Japan. Eligible holders who cannot access the files should contact the Contract Specialist directly via email. Access requests from non-eligible sources will be rejected.
