The U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) is seeking contractor services to upgrade the HVAC system in its computer server room in Washington, DC. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) - Financial and Administrative Management office - OEMs and Vendors: - Equipment must meet or exceed existing Liebert models (Liebert is a prominent OEM for data center cooling solutions) - Products Requested: - Three (3) Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units - Two (2) roof-mounted dry coolers - Two (2) pump packages - Glycol piping system - Refrigerant piping - Isolation valves, balancing valves, strainers, and accessories - Structural roof supports - Electrical disconnects and power wiring - Control wiring - Condensate drain piping - Expansion tanks and air separators - Chemical treatment and glycol solution - Monitoring and alarm interfaces - Services Requested: - Furnishing, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of all equipment - On-site training for government personnel (minimum 8 hours, classroom and hands-on) - Warranty services (minimum one-year labor warranty, manufacturer warranty, 24-hour response during warranty period) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment must meet or exceed the performance of existing Liebert models - Full integration with building automation system (BAS) and alarm interfaces - Safety compliance and comprehensive training for government staff - Completion required within 150 days after Notice to Proceed, with specific milestones for submittals, delivery, installation, and commissioning
