The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Watervliet Arsenal is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive refuse and recycling services for the installation. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Contracting Command, Watervliet Arsenal (ACC WVA) - Contracting Officer: Christopher Battiste - Scope of Services: - Removal of non-hazardous industrial waste, commercial solid waste, recyclables, and green waste - Contractor must supply all equipment, labor, dumpsters, and vehicles - Scheduled weekly pickups and on-call green waste removal - Use of front-load canisters (6-8 cubic yards) and roll-off containers (30 cubic yards) - Service Line Items: - Refuse and recycling services for base year and two option years - Commercial waste removal: 52 scheduled pickups per year - Industrial waste removal: 52 scheduled pickups per year - Recycling and green waste removal: 20 front-load canisters and 1 roll-off, with on-call pickups - Contract Details: - Firm fixed price with per ton and per pull rates - HUBZone small business set-aside - Sustainable acquisition principles per FAR Part 23 - Registration in SAM required - Unique Requirements: - All services must comply with Performance Work Statement 26PWO31 - Possible six-month extension beyond option years - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; focus is on service delivery and equipment provision.

To provide all equipment, labor,dumpsters and vehicles for theremoval of waste in accordance with enclosed Performance Work Statement 26PWO31 at the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet NY.

Delivery: 1 Base year plus 2 option years.

SAM Notice: Recommend including the following to bring it to any potential offerer's attention that registration in SAM (System for Award Management) is necessary and may reduce time to award if a vendor isn't registered or registration isn't current. "In order to be eligible for award, the successful offerer's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration must be active and include representations and certifications." 

The project intends to follow the sustainable acquisition principles of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 23, as applicable.  The proposed contract is set aside for HUBZone small business concerns, Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered.
