The USDA Forest Service, Green Mountain National Forest (Rochester Ranger District), is seeking a contractor to furnish, deliver, and install a urine diversion toilet system at the Warren Falls Recreation Area in Vermont. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Green Mountain National Forest, Rochester Ranger District - Scope of Work: - Installation of a prefabricated single-person building with ADA features - Installation of a waterless, mechanically operated urine-diverting toilet system - Includes excavation, foundation preparation, and backfill - System must feature corrosion-resistant, odor-controlled, and UV-resistant components - Solid waste containment vault with conveyor belt mechanism - Gravity-flow urine drainage pipe, wildlife- and vermin-resistant - ADA compliance: grab bars, privacy latch, deadbolt, signage, coat hook, toilet paper holders - Contractor must provide training, operation & maintenance manuals, spare parts, as-built drawings, and warranty documentation - Products Requested: - 1 prefabricated building (no specified OEM or part number) - 1 urine diversion toilet system (no specified OEM or part number) - Notable Requirements: - High-use recreation site suitability - Installation must be completed within 90 days after notice to proceed - Work restricted to weekdays during daylight hours - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS 321992 (Prefabricated Wood Building Manufacturing) - No specific OEMs or brands are named; opportunity is open to qualified manufacturers and suppliers of prefabricated toilet systems.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444326Q0056 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that includes the furnishing, delivery and installation of a urine diversion toilet system at the Warren Falls recreation area.  The project shall include but is not limited to installation of prefabricated building to house the toilet and associated excavation, the toilet and all mechanics to facilitate the urine diversion, solid waste containment vault, and urine drainage pipe per the attached specifications.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 321992 – Prefabricated Wood Building Manufacturing.  The small business size standard is 500 employees.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
