FCI McDowell, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons under the Department of Justice, is soliciting bids for weekly deliveries of dairy and egg products for the first quarter of the fiscal year. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI McDowell - Products Requested: - Dairy and egg products, including: - 250 lbs of low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese in 5 lb containers - 52 lbs of reduced or nonfat sour cream in 5 lb containers - 650 dozen medium U.S. Grade A shell eggs - 300,000 pint containers of whole pasteurized milk - Quantities and packaging requirements: - Cottage cheese: 5 lb containers, shelf life at least 60 days - Sour cream: 5 lb containers - Eggs: 30 dozen per case - Milk: pint containers - Unique Requirements: - All dairy items will be awarded to a single vendor based on past practice and overall pricing - Evaluation criteria include past performance and delivery schedule - Vendors must match posted quantities or provide calculations for differing case counts - No specific OEMs or branded vendors are mentioned; generic food products are requested - Weekly delivery schedule is required throughout the period of performance

Description

Evaluations will be based upon past performance, socio-economic status, overall price and delivery schedule. Greater emphasis will be placed upon past performance and delivery schedule. In addition to your price, if your quantities such as case count differ from what is posted, please do the calculations to match what your price would be as if you were delivering what is posted also post your actual case count as well. If the calculations are not done, your line item bid price will not be accepted.
