FCI Leavenworth, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking a supplier for a broad range of food commodities to support its QTR 1 subsistence requirements. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Leavenworth - Products Requested: - Large quantities of dry beans (Black, Great Northern, Kidney/Red, Pinto), rice, pasta (elbow macaroni, lasagna, spaghetti), corn meal, non-fat dry milk, hominy grits, rolled oats - Dairy products including butter, margarine, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, parmesan, cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs - Prepared foods: cheese pizza (14,000 units), taco shells (51,000 units), tortillas, tortilla chips - Canned vegetables: tomatoes, green beans, beets, carrots, corn, mixed vegetables, mushrooms, sweet peas, jalapeno peppers, spinach - Condiments and spices: Caesar salad dressing, mustard, pickle relish, soy sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika - Soup base bouillon (beef, chicken, vegetable flavors) - Meats: ground beef (18,000 lbs), ground beef patties, beef roast, chicken breast (10,000 lbs), boneless chicken, chicken leg quarters, chicken filet, fish fillets, Italian pork sausage, pork roast, boneless turkey roast - Quantities range from hundreds to tens of thousands of pounds or cases per item - All products must meet USDA Commodity Identification Description (CID) standards and specific federal grades - Notable requirements: - Products must be delivered frozen or shelf-stable as specified - No added water, phosphates, binders, or extenders in meat products - Dairy and meat products must be delivered within six months of production - Weekly deliveries for eggs - No specific OEMs or brands are named; suppliers must comply with federal food standards - Vendors must provide detailed pricing and packaging information for each item

Description

This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract for the QTR 1 subsistence requirement, which consists of food items delivered to FCI Leavenworth between the dates of October 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026. Each item must meet the specifications in the line description and the CID standards found here (https://www.ams.usda.gov/grades-standards) Period of Performance: October 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026

Directions How to Provide Quote: See the attached SF 1449 solicitation document. Add a unit price, a total price, and a brief description of how the items will be packaged when shipped, next to the items you wish to provide a quote for. Only items with unit price, total amount, and item description stating how the item will be packaged will be considered for award. Return the solicitation document and the attached vendor information sheet by no later than 07:00am on August 31, 2026 to be considered for award.
