Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a safety zone around the ANCHOR Floating Production Unit (FPU) located in Green Canyon Block 763 on the Outer Continental Shelf in the Gulf of America. The safety zone aims to reduce the risk of allisions, collisions, security breaches, oil spills, and natural gas releases, thereby protecting life, property, and the environment. Entry into the safety zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Commander, Coast Guard Heartland District or their designated representative. The safety zone extends 500 meters from each point on the facility's outer edge. Smaller vessels under 100 feet not engaged in towing and attending vessels may enter with permission.
