Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on navigable waters of Lake Michigan in Gary, Indiana, to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards related to an air show, drone display, and fireworks. Entry into this zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or their designated representative. The safety zone is effective from August 20, 2026, through August 23, 2026.
