Description
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requests an extension for three years of the current Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) clearance for its Trade Regulation Rule on Disclosure Requirements and Prohibitions Concerning Franchising (Franchise Rule). The Franchise Rule requires franchisors to provide prospective purchasers with a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) containing material information about the franchise offering. The Rule also mandates franchisors to maintain records to facilitate enforcement. Comments on this extension request must be received by September 17, 2026.
