• The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for a comprehensive rehabilitation of a single home in Delaware County, Oklahoma.
• Scope includes replacement and installation of kitchen appliances, cabinetry, countertops, exterior siding and soffit, waterproof vinyl flooring, exterior house painting, and accessible plumbing fixtures.

  • Base kitchen cabinets (prefinished oak): 20 linear feet
  • Wall hung kitchen cabinets (prefinished oak, 3/4" lumber core): 20 linear feet
  • Countertop (plywood & laminate): 20 linear feet
  • Lap siding (smart board, wood grain texture, primed): 800 sq ft
  • Soffit (SMART SIDE PRODUCT): 80 sq ft
  • Flooring (click lock waterproof vinyl planks, 25-year warranty): 1700 sq ft
  • Exterior house paint (two coats): 1400 sq ft
  • High-rise ADA commode with seat and grab bars: 1 unit
  • Pre-fab shower (30" x 54" x 74", ADA features): 1 unit
  • Kitchen sink and faucet (Delta single-handle model 100-WF or approved equal): 1 unit
• Delta is the only specified OEM for the kitchen faucet (model 100-WF), but "approved equal" alternatives are permitted.
• All work must comply with local codes, manufacturer recommendations, and OSHA standards for asbestos if applicable.
• Project completion required within 25 working days from start; liquidated damages of $100 per day for delays.
• Preference given to TERO-certified bidders; compliance with Tribal rules, TERO, and Davis-Bacon wage rates is mandatory.
• Mandatory bid response forms and detailed work write-up must be submitted for bid consideration.

Description

The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home located in Delaware County. The work includes repairs to appliances, carpentry, flooring, paint and finish, and plumbing. The project must be completed within 25 working days, starting within two weeks of notification, with liquidated damages of $100 per day for delays. Bidders must complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work Write Up, and preference is given to TERO certified bidders. Compliance with Tribal rules and TERO is required.
