The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Soybean Germplasm Collection, is seeking a contractor for tropical soybean seed increase services. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Soybean Germplasm Collection - Products/Services Requested: - Seed increase for tropical soybean germplasm accessions (maturity groups IX and X) - Planting of 900 plots adapted to tropical latitudes (10-11) - Agronomic care, harvesting, cleaning, and shipping of seeds to Urbana, Illinois - Assistance with import permits, customs, and export logistics - Maintenance of detailed records - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified agricultural service providers - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must handle all aspects of seed increase, including international logistics - No travel or security requirements - Project recurs every other year

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), intends to award on a single source basis. 

Potential sources who believe they can provide the requirement listed are invited to submit a quotation by the response date listed, in accordance with the instructions provided herein. All timely responses to this solicitation will be considered, however, the determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
