Description

The City of Glendale, through its Glendale Water and Power Department (GWP), is soliciting proposals for the development of its Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) covering the planning horizon from 2029 through 2050. The IRP aims to meet retail load obligations at the lowest cost while complying with California's renewable energy and greenhouse gas emission requirements. The plan includes organizing and leading public stakeholder engagement events. GWP's current resource portfolio includes local and remote generation, renewable energy sources, and transmission rights to access diverse energy resources.
