Description

The City of Carlsbad is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary to complete the construction of resurfacing approximately 50 miles of City streets. The work includes application of Type 1 slurry seal, Type 2 slurry seal, or asphalt concrete overlay, followed by re-striping the roadway, installation of thermoplastic symbols and legends, and some minor concrete work. The project duration is 170 working days with liquidated damages of $2,500 per day. Bidders must meet licensing requirements and submit bids electronically by the specified deadline.
