Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD), through the Johnson County Museum, is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive refresh of its signature permanent exhibition, 'Becoming Johnson County.' - Government Buyer: - Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD), Johnson County Museum - Scope of Work: - Phased refresh of approximately 9,550 sq. ft. of exhibition space - Integrated exhibit planning, design, fabrication, installation, and project management - Coordination of graphic design, media and interactive development, equipment/materials procurement, delivery, installation, training, warranty support, and project closeout - Budget and Contract Value: - Total project budget: $450,000 - Not-to-exceed contract value for selected firm: $325,000 - Up to $125,000 reserved for graphic production (handled by museum's contracted vendor) - Unique Requirements: - Close collaboration with museum staff and stakeholders - Focus on enhancing visitor engagement, accessibility, intergenerational learning, and community connections - Responsibility for all project phases, including quality, schedule, and budget management - Contract may be used cooperatively by other jurisdictions - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Period of Performance: - Contract covers all phases through completion in 2028, with Phase 1 (Gallery 4) targeted for installation in Fall 2027 and Phase 2 (Galleries 1-3 and foyer) continuing through 2028

The Johnson County Museum, a department of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD), is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a phased refresh of its signature permanent exhibition, Becoming Johnson County. The project aims to refresh and strengthen the exhibition's core theme of community making, highlighting how Johnson County has been shaped by people working together. The selected firm will provide integrated exhibit planning, design, fabrication, installation, project management, and related services through project completion in 2028. The total project budget shall not exceed $450,000, with a not-to-exceed contract value of $325,000 for the selected firm.
