Imperial Irrigation District (IID) is soliciting proposals from qualified Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors for the El Centro Generating Station (ECGS) Unit 4 Repowering Project. The project involves the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover of a new 113 MW natural gas-fired reciprocating internal combustion engine (RICE) generating facility to replace the existing Unit 4 boiler. The selected EPC Contractor will provide a complete, operable, and fully integrated facility in accordance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and performance guarantees.
