Lewis County School District in Vanceburg, Kentucky is seeking proposals for a structured cabling installation at Lewis County Middle School. - Project Scope: - Up to 512 Category 6A plenum cable runs, each averaging 250 feet (totaling approximately 128,000 feet) - All cabling and hardware must be Panduit brand or equivalent - Cabling terminated in vendor-supplied patch panels in IDF/MDF locations - Removal of existing cabling infrastructure required - Installation must meet or exceed Category 6A ratings, TIA/EIA standards, and all state/local electrical codes - Requirements: - Professional labeling and cable color coordination - Protective routing through abrasive surfaces and fire-rated caulking for penetrations - No subcontractors permitted; all work must be performed by the awarded contractor - Bidders must provide per-run pricing, two reference sites (preferably one within 100 miles and for a school or library), a current E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute contract with E-Rate contingencies - Proposals must reflect Lowest Corresponding Price, GSA pricing, and any applicable governmental discounts - Equipment from companies deemed a national security risk per FCC Order 19-121 is prohibited - Project is contingent upon district approval and successful E-Rate Category 2 funding - OEM Highlight: - Panduit (or equivalent) specified for all cabling and hardware

Lewis County School District is seeking proposals for a project to supply and install structured cabling at Lewis County Middle School. The project involves installing up to approximately 512 Category 6A plenum cable runs, each averaging 250 feet, terminated in vendor-supplied patch panels in IDF/MDF. All cabling and hardware shall be Panduit or equivalent, and subcontractors are not accepted. The project is contingent upon district approval and successful obtaining of Category 2 E-Rate funding, with a voluntary site visit scheduled for September 9, 2026.
