Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
USCG Petersburg has a requirement to procure one (1) new Bobcat UW56 utility work machine (or Equivalent) and specified optional attachments, in accordance with the Description/Specifications detailed herein. Award will be made to a single vendor.
CLIN 0001 (BASE) – Bobcat UW56 Utility Work Machine & Factory Packages (Brand Name or Equivalent) – 1 Each CLIN 0002 (OPTION) – 68" Light Material Bucket & 68" Bolt-On Cutting Edge (Brand Name or Equivalent) – 1 Each CLIN 0003 (OPTION) – 4K Heavy Duty Pallet Fork Frame & 48" Teeth (Brand Name or Equivalent) – 1 Each CLIN 0004 (OPTION) – Snow Pusher Pro, 6 ft (Brand Name or Equivalent) – 1 Each
Section C: Description/Specifications
C.1 SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT The contractor shall provide one (1) complete, new, and fully operational Bobcat UW56 utility work machine, or an approved equal, along with the specified optional attachments and packages. The equipment is required to support facility maintenance, material handling, and snow removal operations.
C.2 MINIMUM SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS The complete assembly and attachments must meet or exceed the following minimum characteristics:
C.2.1 Base Machine & Factory Packages (CLIN 0001):

<p>Power Bob-Tach (Automated attachment mounting system).</p>

Section E: Inspection and Acceptance Acceptance will be performed at destination and is contingent upon verification of all components and visual inspection confirming items are free of damage.
Section F: Deliveries or Performance
Warranty: The equipment and all exercised options shall be covered by the standard manufacturer's commercial warranty. Shipping: All items shall be delivered FOB Destination to: USCG PETERSBURG, 107 DOCK ST, PETERSBURG, AK 99833.
Evaluation—Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:
Basis for Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Technical Acceptability: To be rated "Acceptable," the quote and its supporting documentation must demonstrate compliance with all minimum salient characteristics in Section C.2 on a "Pass/Fail" basis. Failure to provide sufficient documentation for any characteristic will result in the quote being deemed technically unacceptable. Price & Options: The price evaluation will only be performed on quotes determined to be Technically Acceptable. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. The evaluation of options does not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s).
