NIST's Applied Chemicals and Materials Division is seeking a small business to provide a new fabricated working platform for its 1 Million Pound test machine at the Boulder, CO campus. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Material Measurement Laboratory, Applied Chemicals and Materials Division, Boulder, CO - Products/Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of the current platform (scrap steel) - Fabrication of a new working platform per detailed engineering specifications - Applicable certifications (including AWS D1.1 certified welds) - Installation of the new platform - Product/Service Line Items (each quantity 1): - Removal of current platform - Disposal of current platform - Working platform fabrication - Applicable certifications - Installation of new platform - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Platform must meet structural and safety standards, including AWS D1.1 certified welds - Steel must be primed and painted - Delivery required within 120 days of award; installation to begin within two weeks of delivery - Minimum one-year warranty from Government acceptance - Compliance with NIST site access and operating procedures - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified; fabrication is per custom engineering specifications
