The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is soliciting quotes for the supply and delivery of galvanized welded bar grating panels and grating clips for the Bonnet Carre Spillway Structure in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District (KO Contracting Division) - Products Requested: - 70 units of hot dipped galvanized welded bar grating panels, serrated and non-banded, 1-1/4" x 3/16" (19-W-4), 27-5/8" wide, 20-foot span - 70 units of hot dipped galvanized welded bar grating panels, serrated and non-banded, 1-1/4" x 3/16" (19-W-4), 27-5/8" wide, 24-foot span - 1,000 hot dipped galvanized "G-Type" grating clips with adequate depth for 1-1/4" grating panels - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; generic specifications provided - Unique Requirements: - All materials must be delivered to the Bonnet Carre Spillway maintenance yard in Norco, LA - Delivery required within 90 days of contract award - Grating panels must be serrated, non-banded, and hot dipped galvanized for corrosion resistance - Grating clips must be "G-Type" and sized to secure specified panels

Description

The contractor shall provide all materials for Bonnet Carre Spillway Structure Grating as outlined in the Bidding Schedule and Material & Requirements Paragraphs. The contractor is responsible for purchasing and delivery of all materials to the Bonnet Carre Spillway's project maintenance yard (16302 River Rd., Norco, LA).

a. Furnish 24 foot long (spans) and 20 foot long (spans) of hot dipped galvanized welded bar grating walkway panels in the quantities indicated in the bidding schedule. The galvanized welded bar grating shall be serrated, non-banded with bar dimensions of 1-1/4" x 3/16" (19-W-4). Grating panel widths shall be 27-5/8 inches wide. b. Furnish 1,000 hot dipped galvanized "G-Type" grating clips with adequate depth to secure the 1-1/4" depth grating panels.
